WHO IS KANE WAV?

While the allure of a secure and stable income draws many to the corporate world, KANE has always known that he didn't want to be trapped in the endless 9-5. He needed to work towards his passion, instead of for someone else's. To be enclosed within a singular industry or job was not why he was placed here on this Earth; with this as the one certainty throughout his life, KANE lives with the mantra of #HustleAndMotivate.


From humble beginnings in a small southern Ontario city, Anthony 'KANE WAV' Subnaik was raised amongst two siblings by his mother. Despite the limited diversity growing up, KANE's mother ensured he stayed true to his multiethnic roots with regard to food, culture, and music. The diverse exposure resulted in a pull towards the early creations of Jay-Z, Eminem and Lil Wayne. Their influence reaches millions each year, but twelve-year-old KANE felt a stirring that sparked not only inspiration but motivation, which unknowingly launched him onto a path that was very different from the artists' typical listeners.

He began making music at the age of twelve and even considered dropping out of high school to pursue his first entrepreneurial feat, Mila Mafia Music. School and home-life were both a struggle for KANE and the allure of moving out to solely focusing on his music career tempted him to give up on education. However, a traumatic event halted this thought and emphasized the importance and sheer privilege of basic education. The sudden passing of a close friend was a life-altering event that changed the course of KANE's energy and focus. Life is equal parts fragile, beautiful, and limited. To be a spectator instead of the main player is a tragedy on its own. Taking control and making the most of every moment you are given to live is a lesson that shook KANE into action.


Deciding to continue with school and no longer sitting on the sidelines while life passed by, KANE started focusing on the future. The specifics of exactly what he wanted to do was unclear, but with a passion for music, KANE dedicated a year after graduation to explore. He had a vision and purpose, but it was the details of how to bring the vision to reality that needed work.

The clubbing scene in Toronto is legendary. People from all over travel to Toronto to enjoy the finer things in life... drinking, dancing, dope beats. Thanks to the accidental meeting of his ex business partner, KANE found a partner in his first truly spectacular business. The idea of a club
promotional company merged with producing music came when KANE explored the clubbing scene with Andreas; New .Wav Entertainment was born. Sound artists, producers and DJ's can appreciate the subtle nod to their industry, as the .wav is their preferred version of the more commonly known .mp3 file listeners know of. This company quickly became one that would bring the city together and be the foundation of his very own empire...

During the pandemic KANE WAV adapted and decided to restructure his plan. He re designed himself and started new businesses to help with the pandemic, providing value to consumers as a entrepreneur first before as an artist. With Imperium Vending, currently expanding CANADA WIDE and currently in the CN TOWER, provides accessibility to P.P.E for consumers.
